Self taught. Drawing to improve day by day.

Thank you for visiting.

Hello there guys and gals. Sorry to pop in unannounced but as we all know accidents happen and I got in between one while I was working on the ship.
Unfortunately I am no longer capable of doing my daily tasks and as of a couple of days ago I came back home, getting everything together including myself is still an ongoing process after what happened.

I am okay and I am in the process of taking care of my back with all the trainings and visits to my chiropractic.

So... Yeah.. No more exploring the world and I am not even thinking about looking for my next job really. I will see if I can find myself an art course study or something to pass the time while healing.
Or just getting back to drawing as I did before I left.

Things are not easy as everything goes but I know I can manage it all.

Thank you for your time and hope to see you around Deviantart!

I'll be here.. :)

1) I'm in a bit of a slump, too, distracted by various issues,as we discussed.  So, today, I'm working in the old studio with pencil and paper, instead of using the tablet.  I had forgotten how good it feels to draw with the whole arm and put my whole body into it.

2)  A combination of passive and active inversions on a gerri-rigged exercise machine set between 35 and 40 degrees is popping my vertebrae back into position!  Heard and felt two major shifts at the base of my spine, yesterday and the day previous.  That's where the big problem is.  The secret is to use arm power to increase the stretch/decompression.  I do that by pulling from overhead at the low end of the board.  The relief is most welcome!

Along the same lines as inversion, I'm now doing all the strength-building exercises suspended, gymnastic style, on parallel bars and a high bar to completely avoid compressing the disks.  I do them on an old power tower that I had stored dismantled in the basement (i.e. monkey bars)  Of course, between the self-made inversion device and the monkey bars, the living room is an obstacle course.

Thanks for the :+fav: Dan!  (Speak of the Devil and he appears, eh?  lol.  A pleasant surprise ;) Again, take care of your back.  Do the "upward dog" exercise daily, 2 sets of ten.  Maintain good posture and when you catch yourself slouching, over-correct ( chest thrust forward, shoulders back) ten repetitions to train your body.  I'm sure you know these things - so, do them, and save yourself a trip to the chriopractor.  XD :)

Ahhh.. I'm afraid the back has taken the hit. My worst fears have came true and now I came back home on an emergency leave.
I can no longer work properly and the lower back is how to say.. Not pleasant on a daily basis.

I am now in full disarray and trying to get back to a normal life, but after this I am unsure as how the future looks now..

Time to get back to the drawing board.

Chiropractor, first.  Then, exercise and a healthful lifestyle.  You're too young to be saddled with back problems.
