Something for my friend. I tasked myself to draw something for her while only listening to the amazing industrial music that she created. This came up. The mind is a beautiful thing.

I doubt i've ever mentioned this, but red's my favorite color. Im looking at this thing with a huge bias hahaha

Regardless, I'm sure I would have liked it. The reds really are rich and eye-catching, and the drops of red around this, and the gray colors create a bit of contrast in colors. Somewhat dull gray, and then incredibly bright red...  it's just an interesting comparison to look at.

And then the circles direct the viewer to the center, and they get to notice the patterns, stone, an rich center-piece. Anyway, lovely job of coursee

Hehehe there will be more shades of red when i get some equipment. Running low on pencils as it is let alone good wooden pencils. To be fair, as much as you are good, you need good tools to properly shade and draw, now talking only about colored pencils. A good HB pencil always does the job good.

The music that i listened to created this. I like these simple yet odd challenges as to only listen that type of music and go with the flow. This came up.

Thank you once again Ricky!

That's actually a pretty good way to make something when you need ideas. So you listen to music and just sketch something, and "roll with it?" Or do you sketch, but then do multiple revisions? Whenever I do that, I rarely revisit the ideas. Which kind of is a bummer considering stuff that was inspired tends to have something to them that "works."

With projects like these i just role with it. The sketch goes with the music. No change has been made, when i started it i finished it when it was done and then added the colors randomly as i see fit. As i said, this is a special project, most of mine are planed out and i have a general idea on how they will end up.

I wouldn't revisit the idea unless i needed some details within it that i could use, change their aspects and details. There is always some similarities but i tend to make them look new, rather then what i already made.
