Crimson Bleed by Danijel-Knez Crimson Bleed by Danijel-Knez
A4 paper. Equipment used: Hb mechanical pencil Faber-Castell wooden black, red Pentel pen.
Time to complete: 7 hours.

This is the reworked version from Crimson, you can see the old one here --> danijel-knez.deviantart.com/ar…
I wanted it to match the others. You can see it does now and i like to where this is going...
There is no poem for this one as we know Crimson series is done, and i don't want go back there again..

Enjoy!

I actually really like the splashes of red on this. It makes this thing feel like it could actually be used for a book cover.

Anyway, great job as always. I like the red around the eyes. The red doesn't really touch the eye and it feels like the eye is peeping in and looking outwards. The more bony wings and  "vein-like_ things on the heart are nice as well. The bones make the wings feel more detailed and haunting then the last, and the things over the heart actually make me thing, "toxic." They stretch over, and attempt to encompass the whole thing.

I had in mind to make a book one day. An illustration with these and the poems with it. It would cost me a bunch to make just one. I probably will once i am done with the series, and there is much to draw till then. We seem to think on the same level once again.

Thanks my friend. Its a shame i didn't work it more as the new eyes i submit on Facebook every other day but this will do. Reworking it once is already too much and i don't really like to rework so much works. Sometimes its good just as it is, i am rarely disappointed on how it ends up. I just want that little extra detail in it. Its a curse i say! A CURSE !

Everything you described is true. That was the feeling of the first Crimson that was made.Though, that one did not have a second name, this now fits with the rest and it looks cool to start with an eye each time. Better and better with each practice.

Hehehe, a huge change of style if you see the before and after one.I just wanted it to fit the rest and it works just fine. Crimson weight will not be reworked and i will let it stay grey as it is. I am glad that you like it,when Amber is over there will be much more ''creepy'' involved.
